A steam boiler is a device used to generate steam by applying heat energy to water, it is commonly used wherever a source of high-temperature steam is required.

Such as cloths factories, hospitals, desserts factories, canned food factories.

The generated heat is transferred to water to produce steam; the process of boiling, this produces saturated steam at a rate that can vary according to the pressure above the boiling water,  the higher the furnace temperature, the faster the steam production.

The saturated steam produced can either be used immediately to produce power or maybe further superheated to a higher temperature.
